Stephanie made the contribution during a fundraising event held at St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Centre, where she addressed guests and expressed her deep connection to children’s welfare. In her remarks, she revealed that she is a children’s officer by profession, explaining why the cause was especially close to her heart. “I’m so happy to be here. When my dad told me that there was a fundraiser happening in Mbiuni, he chose to tell me because I’m a children’s officer by profession. I work a lot with children. And I’m very happy to be here,” Stephanie said.

She also praised the region, noting that the journey from Nairobi had been pleasant. “Thank you for inviting us. It’s very beautiful. People normally say Kamba land is dry, but on the drive here from Nairobi, I think God blessed you with the rains because it was a beautiful drive, and I’m happy to be here,” she added. Stephanie clarified that the KSh 3 million donation was a contribution from her father and their family. “I’m not a politician; I don’t talk much. I’m happy to see the children, and we will do whatever we can to finance and support all the help that you need. This is a contribution from my father and my family, not just from him as president, but also because he is a family man and we love children. Children are our future. Thank you so much,” she said. –TUKO
