The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has unveiled support centres to assist 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates experiencing difficulties during the application process for university and college placement.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, April 14, the placement body said the initiative is part of a broader campaign to ensure that all eligible Form Four leavers successfully submit their applications for the 2026/2027 placement cycle.
The support centres are strategically located across various universities, technical institutions and colleges situated in different parts of the country.
Among the universities listed as support centres are Alupe (Busia), Bomet (Bomet), Chuka (Tharaka Nithi), Dedan Kimathi (Nyeri), Egerton (Nakuru), Jramogi Oginga Odinga (Siaya), Kabarnet (Baringo), and Kaimosi Friends (Vihiga).
Colleges listed as support centres included Belgut Technical and Vocational College (Kericho), Emurua Dikkir TVC (Narok), Isiolo TVC (Isiolo), Total TTI (Nakuru), Shamberere TTI (Kakamega), Nachu TVC (Kaimbu), Maralal TVC (Samburu), Mabera TTI (Migori), and Lunga Lunga TVC (Kwale).
KUCCPS also listed Laisamis TTI in Marsabit, Kinango TVC (Kwale), Garsen TVC (Tana River), Endebess TTC (Trans Nzoia) and Mawego National Polytechnic in Homa Bay.
The exercise, which runs from April 13 to April 24, 2026, is designed to provide hands-on assistance, particularly for students facing technical challenges, course selection problems or difficulties accessing the KUCCPS portal.
KUCCPS announced that it had deployed assistance officers to each centre to offer guidance and answer questions to those facing challenges.
In addition to the physical support centres, KUCCPS noted that assistance will also be available at Huduma Centres nationwide, as well as at its main offices located at ACK Garden House in Nairobi.
The placement body urged all candidates yet to complete their applications to take advantage of the support centres before the deadline on May 6, 2026.
For further inquiries, candidates can contact KUCCPS through their official phone lines: 020 5137400/0713 924 444 or email: info@kuccps.ac.ke.
Meanwhile, the latest development comes a week after KUCCPS opened its portal for degree programme applications for candidates who scored C+ and above.
In a statement, the placement body on April 7 said the application targeted the 2025 KCSE examination class and other Form Four leavers from previous years.
Candidates seeking to apply for the courses were urged to do so through the KUCCPS portal: kuccps.net/login by May 6, 2026-Kenyans.co.ke.
